The Rehearsal Room provides everything kids need to know to break into the film and television industry! We provide training in acting, audition techniques and industry knowledge for kids from 6-15.

Unlike a lot of others, our classes are taught by working industry professionals, actors or directors. This gives students an up to date knowledge of current trends and lets them know what's really happening in the industry. The classes are dedicated to teaching young people to merge their own uniqueness into the demands of acting on film and television. The kids will learn to overcome their fears, develop their skills and become comfortable with the special requirements and techniques of acting for the camera.

They become able to move beyond "acting" and fully bring characters to life and to react truthfully in the moment. As they begin to apply their skills to actual scripts from current TV shows, films and commercials, the kids are able to build a solid foundation for their careers.

Each class offers a fun and professional environment where all students work on stage in every class.

The classes consist of scene study, cold reading & audition techniques, career management skills (getting an agent, headshots, etc.) and tools to help overcome stage fright.

To promote our talent, we hold auditions and showcases with top Hollywood and San Diego producers, casting directors and agents from such industry leaders as New Line Cinema, MGM, Sony Pictures, Universal Studios, Showtime and HBO - as well as producers of independent feature films, TV commercials, and many TV shows.

We encourage parents to stay for class. This gives parents first hand knowledge what your child is learning and how to help them prepare for the roles they audition for.
